About the Role

As Consultant, you will play a key role in advising a world-class portfolio of clients on EU financial services policy and regulation. From monitoring EU decision-making to helping clients shape meaningful stakeholder engagements, this role offers both intellectual and practical challenges. Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Monitoring EU policy developments, legislation, and decision-making in the financial services space.
  • Delivering high-quality analysis, intelligence, and insights tailored to clients’ priorities and interests.
  • Crafting impactful briefing materials, messaging strategies, and positioning documents for clients.
  • Supporting clients in identifying and fostering relationships with key stakeholders, including EU institutions and national regulators.
  • Collaborating on multi-office assignments across Kreab’s vibrant international team.
  • Traveling occasionally to key hubs such as London, Paris, and Frankfurt to strengthen networks and support projects.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

To succeed in this role, you will need the following:

  • Professional Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience, ideally in economic/financial services sectors, EU institutions, or consultancy. The ability to offer sound advice on policy or regulatory matters from day one.
  • Knowledge & Passion: A strong interest in EU financial services policy and the regulation of banking, payments, and/or fintech sectors.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to synthesize complex information and present it clearly to clients.
  • Collaboration: A team-spirited, culturally adaptable mindset to thrive in a diverse, international environment.
  • Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Networking Savvy: A track record of developing and maintaining professional networks to stay ahead of regulatory developments.
