Peter Faisst

Peter is a Partner in an international law firm and brings extensive experience in the renewable energy and technology sectors across legal, regulatory, and public affairs matters. He specializes in EU sustainability regulation, supply chain compliance, and navigating EU-China trade and investment frameworks.

Peter also served as Head of Legal for EMEA at Trina Solar, where he led high-profile EU trade investigations, structured major M&A deals, and advised on the implementation of key EU legislation such as the CS3D and Net Zero Industry Act. He also served on the board of the Solar Stewardship Initiative and played a leading role in industry-wide sustainability efforts.

Peter is a German-qualified attorney and is registered in Switzerland as foreign lawyer. A German-Swiss national, he holds an EMBA from the University of St. Gallen and an LL.M. in Comparative Law from the University of San Diego. He speaks several languages and has deep cross-cultural experience across Europe and Asia.
