Faced with the gigantic logistical challenge posed by the immunization of its population that amounts to nine million inhabitants, the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu designed a controversial – but effective – strategy that basically consists of signing agreements with Pfizer / BioNTech , Moderna and AstraZeneca for supplying about 20 million vaccines in exchange for general patient data, but without identifying them.
