Prior to establishing strategic communications company Kiroyan Partners in 2006 Noke Kiroyan has been an international business executive for thirty-two years. Commencing in 1974 as Management Trainee at Siemens AG in Nürnberg he left in 1991 as CEO of PT Siemens Indonesia to become Managing Director of Salim Deutschland GmbH in Düsseldorf. The next assignment was in Melbourne, Australia as Country Representative for Salim Group, and then President & CEO of Salim Oleochemicals Inc. in Dublin/Ohio, United States.
The mining industry brought him back to Indonesia in 1997 as President & Country Head of Rio Tinto in Indonesia and Chairman of the Rio Tinto Foundation, followed by an assignment to head world-class coal mining company Kaltim Prima Coal and ultimately Chairman of Rio Tinto Indonesia. As a consultant he specializes in crisis management, public affairs and corporate social responsibility. His current organizational activities include being Chairman of the International Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia, Trustee of the United States – Indonesia Society, and Supervisory Board member of the UN Global Compact Network Indonesia.
