The 22nd Financing Europe Conference: Investment that Supports Society

Next week, on 18 March 2025, the annual “Financing Europe” conference returns for its 22nd edition, hosted by KREAB Worldwide, ForumEurope, and Barclays.

With European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen’s ambitious 2024-2029 agenda focused on enchancing Europe’s global competitiveness while facilitating a clean, digital, and social transition, the EU will now require unprecedented levels of investment to avoid falling behind. The Draghi report estimates, for example, that as much as €800 billion will be required to meet these goals and avoid falling behind.

This year’s Financing Europe will bring together industry leaders, investors, and policymakers to discuss the revitalisation of Europe’s investment landscape, especially to support societal needs and advance towards becoming the world’s first climate-neutral continent, as well as how a Savings and Investment Union can be achieved.

Key discussions will include enhancing EU banking and capital market integration, boosting investment in technology and infrastructure, and reinforcing Europe’s competitiveness and resilience amid evolving geopolitical tensions.

KREAB is proud to co-host this premier event, with David Reed, Senior Partner at KREAB Brussels, and José María Roldán, Senior Advisor at KREAB Brussels, participating as speakers.
