Yves Bertoncini

Yves Bertoncini is a European and public affairs consultant, speaker and lecturer.

He has been Director of the Jacques Delors Institute between 2011 and 2017 and worked in the office of the French Prime Minister with responsibility for research on Europe at the Centre d’Analyse Stratégique/France Stratégie, and as political adviser to the Secretary general of European Affairs. He also worked for the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the organisation of the “national dialogue for Europe” and at the French embassy in Algiers.

Prior to that, he was an administrator at the European Commission, where he has worked at the Directorates-General “Education, Training, Youth” and “Regional Policy” (1998-2001). Yves Bertoncini holds degrees from the Institut d’Études Politiques in Grenoble and the College of Europe in Bruges. He has also studied at Sciences Po Paris and at the University of California in Berkeley.
