David Glasspool

David was head of Equity Capital Markets at the Swedish bank SEB from 2001 to 2012. Prior to that he was a director in the Corporate Finance Department having originally joined SEB in 1989. David has extensive experience of Equity Capital Markets transactions including IPOs, directed equity issues, rights issues, listings and privatisations for both small and large capitalisation companies. David qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Price Waterhouse Coopers in 1989 and has a degree in Biochemistry with Microbiology from the University of St Andrews, Scotland. In addition to his professional career David is involved in London local politics and is currently an elected councillor for the Royal Borough of Kingston-Upon-Thames where he chairs the Finance and Treasury Committee.
