Tuomas Tierala

Tuomas is a Finnish national and has been leading our Brussels office since 2024. He has a wide expertise in energy, climate and environmental policy issues, supporting clients to advance their business through regulatory affairs. He works on a number of digital clients on resiliency, data, cloud and digital policies and broader energy and sustainability policies.

Tuomas holds a Master’s in political history, sociology and political science from the Helsinki University and MSc on international business from the ESCP Business School. He has worked across various industries, ranging from hard-to-ebate sectors and clean breakthrough technologies to advising multiple Fortune 500 companies on their strategic positioning in the European Union and building their global Public Affairs functions.

Tuomas also sits on the Board of EPACA, the European trade organisation of public affairs agencies. As KREAB Worldwide Executive Vice President, he is also responsible for wider business development and strategic direction.
