From more than 15 years as a first-class writer and communicator, Michael has an extensive portfolio of compelling, persuasive speeches and op-eds for world leaders across government, business and philanthropy.

He was chief writer to both Gordon Brown and David Cameron in Downing Street, where he composed words that set and shaped the political agenda at home and abroad. He was also a member of the No 10 Senior Communications Group and the Strategic Communications Unit.

Michael has demonstrated an innate ability to adapt style and tone to suit diverse principals and audiences, with texts crafted for President Obama, Bill Gates, Melinda French Gates, Lord Browne of Madingley and Nobel peace laureate Malala Yousafzai.

An exceptionally versatile writer, Michael has also created engaging voice over scripts and promotional copy that brought to life concepts and campaigns for clients, including Google, Amazon and Spotify.

His work has appeared on the stages of the International Monetary Fund, Davos, United Nations and TED, and on the pages of the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Newsweek, Financial Times, The Times, The Guardian and The Lancet.

Before turning to speechwriting, Michael spent more than a decade researching and writing across domestic and international issues for The Sun and Daily Mail, covering momentous events including the global financial crisis, Iraq and Kosovo Wars, and 9/11.
