Desty Nsengiyumva

Desty Nsengiyumva supports government and private-sector clients through news analysis, media relations focused on overseas outlets, and web content production ranging from videos to long-form interview articles. She is also part of Kreab’s media training team. Desty’s African roots gives her a unique perspective on Japan-Africa affairs, reinforced by a past internship at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and native-level fluency in Kirundi and Japanese, in addition to English. Desty graduated from the Faculty of Information and Communication at Meiji University and holds a Master’s Degree in International Relations from the Graduate School of Asia-Pacific Studies at Waseda University.
