Kunihiko Yasue

Kunihiko Yasue advises on communications and media relations for clients in the private and public sector, leveraging over two decades of experience as a reporter in Japan and in the United States. He began his journalism career at the Yomiuri Shimbun in 1997, where he covered a wide range of topics, from government economic policy to scandals related to listed companies. Kunihiko also spent four years as a correspondent in Washington D.C, reporting on economic trends and policies. While stationed in the US, he was a visiting researcher at Columbia University’s renowned Weatherhead East Asian Institute.

Prior to joining Kreab, Kunihiko worked as a public relations consultant focused on crisis communications. He holds a degree in political science and economics from Waseda University.
