Riki Kishimoto

Riki Kishimoto oversees international PR projects for government institutions such as the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as for private companies, bringing over 20 years of wide-ranging professional experience to the team. Riki is a Former Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ deputy director with assignments in the Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau, Economic Affairs Bureau, and overseas diplomatic missions in the Middle East and North America. While at the Ministry, he engaged in negotiations and conclusion of bilateral and multilateral economic treaties. At a North American mission, he served as Head of the Public Relations and Culture Section, planning and implementing cultural programs to promote Japanese culture, and leading publicity and recruitment activities for the JET Programme, contributing to mutual understanding and exchange between the two countries. From the private sector, he brings experience in managing regulatory compliance projects for automotive and gaming companies, and is active as a specialist in legal interpretation and lobbying in areas such as intellectual property, environment, data, and cybersecurity. Besides his native Japanese, he is fluent in English.
