Yuya Yamamoto

Yuya Yamamoto supports government overseas public relations activities and facilitates government relations for private companies in various industries such as healthcare, energy, manufacturing, and services.

Prior to joining Kreab, he worked for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Cabinet Secretariat, where he was involved in analyzing political and economic trends in Europe and Latin America, reforming nuclear regulatory authority, and investigating technological trends and geopolitical risks related to economic security. He was seconded to the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) São Paulo office, where he was responsible for business environment improvement activities, export and investment promotion, and also wrote articles for Japanese media on political, economic, and social trends in Brazil. After leaving METI, he gained experience in government relations at a pharmaceutical company.

Yuya holds a Bachelor of Economics from Aoyama Gakuin University.
