Adriana has a career of over 35 years in public service, as well as leading multi-stakeholder engagement in Latin America and beyond.

She served as Colombia’s Ambassador to the OECD between 2021 and 2022; as Vice Minister for Multilateral Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on two different occasions; as Vice Minister of Culture; Director of the Culture and Tourism in the city government of Bogotá, Capital District; and as Director of Citizen Participation at the Bogotá Comptroller’s Office.

She also served as Director of Public Security for the Organization of American States in Washington, D.C.; Manager of Social Responsibility for RCN Television; and Executive President of the Colombian Editors’ Association.

She has been actively involved in policy analysis, having served as Executive Director of the Innovation for Development Foundation, a think and do tank founded in 2023 and as Executive Director of the Institute of Political Science. As a consultant for the Government of Colombia, she worked on projects for the Presidential Program for Human Rights; for the Office of the High Commissioner for Peace; and as a member of the Ministry of Justice Advisory Commission, supported by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, for Drug Policy Reform.

She is currently a board member of bank AV Villas and a member of the community of Women’s Leadership in Boards.
