Andrés Shoai

Andrés Shoai holds a PhD in Communications (CEINDO, Spain) and he has been a Visiting Fellow at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in the areas of international public opinion, organization—public dialogue and digital technologies at Universidad CEU San Pablo (Spain). He also holds a Master’s degree in Sociology and Political Science (FLACSO, Argentina) and he has taught graduate Public Opinion courses at Universidad de Buenos Aires and George Washington University. After working as a journalist, he moved to communications consultancy and he has advised major organizations in the public, private and civil society sectors for over 15 years. He has received a grant from the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness of Spain to work in the project “From Television Audiences to Social Networks: Media Convergence in the Digital Society” (CONVERED), funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the State Research Agency (AEI). He has also authored research articles in specialized journals and he has made presentations in various international events in Latin America and Europe. He currently lives in Madrid with his wife and daughter.
