Philip Warland

Philip has spent his career working in the City of London, focusing on UK and international banking, asset management and regulation. For 20 years he worked at the Bank of England, where latterly he served as Chief Press Officer. Following this he became Deputy Group General Manger at Standard Chartered Bank, where he was part of the change management team at the Bank. He then served for ten years as Director General at the Association of Unit Trusts & Investment Funds (now the Investment Association, where he currently acts as a senior advisor). After some years in PwC, where he was a member of Financial Services Regulatory Practice leadership team in London, and Pan-European Regulatory Advisory Services leadership team in Brussels, Philip joined Fidelity Worldwide Investment in 2010 to establish their European regulatory policy and public affairs activities.
