Robert Rivett

Dr Robert (Bob) M  Rivett joined KREAB as a Senior Advisor in July 2021. During his career he was with Emerson Electric for 28 years as Emerson Electric as Corp. Tech. VP and head of the global operations for the Emerson Advanced Design Center. EADC is responsible for solving technical problems at Divisions or suppliers anywhere in the world and conducting Design Reviews on key products. Besides leading the ADC, he is responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Developing relationships with Universities and Institutes internationally
• Leading product  environmental conformance efforts (i.e, RoHS, WEEE, etc.).
• Developing Emerson’s long term material strategies
• Develop sustainability strategies

Prior to joining Emerson Bob was a department head at the Welding Institute in Cambridge UK (1976 – 86) and was then part of the set-up team of a spin-off organization, Edison Welding Institute in Columbus Ohio, US. (1986 – 93) Both organization conducted contract research in all topics related to materials joining.
