Alberto Muelas

Alberto Muelas, with a background in strategy, communication and finance, is a professional with 15 years of experience in sustainability and corporate responsibility and has great knowledge and experience in the application of reporting standards such as <IR> of IIRC, SRS of GRI or AA1000; response to ESG analysts and investors; socio-economic impact measurement; and strategic planning in sustainability.

Before joining Kreab, he held the position of Sustainability Services Senior Manager at KPMG contributing to the development of sustainability consulting services. Among other achievements, Alberto led the delivery of courses approved by the IIRC on the Integrated Reporting framework (IR) in Spain. Previously, he held the position of Corporate Responsibility and Internal Communication Manager at the Indra technology consultancy where he managed to keep the company continuously in the demanding DJSI for 10 consecutive years until his departure from the company and the start-up of the internal communication team.

Alberto has a degree in Economics from the Autonomous University of Madrid and an MBA from IEDE Business School.
