Juan Moscoso is an expert in geopolitics and international economic relations, with extensive experience in the institutional, parliamentary and economic fields. He served as Member of Parliament for Navarre in the Congress of Deputies during the 8th, 9th and 10th parliamentary terms, from 2004 to 2016, and held, among other responsibilities, the roles of Socialist spokesperson on the Joint Committee for the European Union and Head of the Spanish Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.
Between 2012 and 2014, he was Secretary for the European Union at the Federal Executive Commission of the PSOE.
He currently combines his work as Senior Fellow at EsadeGeo and Fellow of Aspen Institute España with his responsibilities at Spain’s Economic and Social Council (CES) as Head of the Department of International Relations, External Affairs and Technical Support to the General Secretariat. He also serves as a proprietary board member of Indra Group, upon nomination by SEPI.
He holds a PhD in Economics and Business Studies from the Autonomous University of Madrid and a Master’s degree in Economics from the College of Europe in Bruges.
