KREAB does breakfast with the Fundación Iberoamericana Empresarial

Kreab, together with the Fundación Iberomericana Empresarial, organised a breakfast meeting on ‘Governance and transparency’. The purpose of the breakfast, which was attended by the President of the Foundation, Josep Piqué, was to share governance concepts with entities that have interests in Latin America such as Santander, BBVA, Iberdrola, Telefónica, Gestamp, CAF, Planet and the Colegio de Registradores.

Despite the fact that in most Latin American countries there are already governance regulations, some issues have been raised, such as the need to go beyond the areas of Compliance and look into collaborative governance like “public decision-making, with will to unite companies and the third sector”.

At the breakfast, transparency as the basis of organizations’ culture, beyond compliance with existing regulations was also discussed.
