International relations and sustainable development are the protagonists of the latest report by Kreab and IE

“The Impact of New International Relations Paradigms on Sustainable Development and Human Security” is the title of the report presented at the new edition of Kreab Sustainability Lab, held on November 16, in collaboration with IE School of Global and Public Affairs.

Within the framework of the Capstone Project and the IE Master program in International Relations, students Zélie Thuillier, Farah Tubeileh and Apollina Kyle carried out this study under the supervision of Alberto Muelas and Francisco Ortín, director and executive associate of the Sustainability and Economics area of Kreab Spain, respectively, as well as Borja Santos, executive director of the IE School of Global and Public Affairs. They were all present at this virtual meeting.

The report analyzes the latest trends in international relations and sustainable development with a view to answering the question “In what way do the changes in global decision-making processes influence the effectiveness of multilateralism for sustainable development?”  Based on the insights gained, scenarios have been elaborated and policy developments for the improvement of the situation and strategic levers for companies have been proposed.
